Illustrated through an inspiring set of sports focused commercials featuring major brands such as Nike, Adidas, Reebok and Under Armour, the festive campaign for DW Sports encourages audiences to ‘give the gift of sport’ to their loved ones.
Set within a wintery setting, juxtaposed with beams of neon lights and powerful bursts of snow, Hatch worked to combine high quality sports performance and lifestyle shots, that truly tap into the magic of Christmas. Joining forces with artificial snow providers Snow Business, the set was made to look as authentic as possible, using high quality cannons to achieve the powerful snow bursts featured throughout the commercials.
This was also achieved through music. Working with the team at Box of Toys, an upbeat track was composed including all the festive sounds of Christmas, as well as a sense of performance and sport.
With a diverse cast of men, women and children, the fast paced action sequences shot on a high speed Phantom camera, along with slow motion product shots work together to showcase the right gift for the right person this Christmas at DW Sports. All post was handled in-house at Hatch.
Hatch lead the creative journey from beginning to end - producing, filming, editing and posting more than 15 different spots for the Sports retailer across UK and ROI. The creative lead flowed seamlessly from broadcast into store, outdoor, online and social; to create the biggest campaign DW Sports have run to date.
