Chairman of hasan & co., founder and founding CEO of hasan & partners, Ami Hasan passed away after an extended illness. Timo Everi, vice chairman of the board and Simo Kajaste, CEO share their thoughts on Ami's passing. 

"The loss is immense for all of us, his family, close colleagues, as well as his business partners and thousands of friends. We, and the world, have lost one of the great patrons of creativity.

We’ll all miss his relentless encouragement for expanding the scope of our thinking, setting aspirational goals, and raising overly ambitious expectations. He had the drive to keep pushing us on and never tired of pointing out the difference between cutting-edge and run-of-the-mill thinking. Ami was a visionary, an exceptionally quick thinker, and an excellent conversationalist – capable of insightful and pointed discussions on basically any subject, from how to run your business to how to raise your children.

Ami radiated insight, friendship and social virtuosity and one needed no research or metrics to recognise it.
