Feed has hired Mark Malone, the founder of Grape Digital, as its first Director of Social and Content, completing the agency's management front line.
Mark Malone joins Feed to launch their new social and content division, two years after selling his agency Grape Digital to Karmarama, later rebranded Krowd. Mark starts at Feed this week and will take direct responsibility for launching a new division specialising in social and content media. He will work alongside MD Matt Lynch, CEO Rob Armstrong and ECD Simone Micheli.
Feed is one of the UK’s fastest growing independent digital agencies, their clients include eBay, Gumtree, The Telegraph and Hearst Magazines UK. Feed has become recognised as one of London’s leading innovative, collaborative and entrepreneurial agencies, and has increased its turnover by 50% for four consecutive years.
“This is a pivotal appointment for Feed. We've landed one of the most established and respected content and social specialists in adland. Amongst the self proclaimed gurus and experts he stands out with an impressive track record. From the moment he walked through the door it was clear Mark¹s ambition fits our own. We plan on building the most talked about social and content division in London. We invite brands who are sick of the same old social solutions to come and see us.” Matt Lynch, MD, Feed
Mark established his industry icon status having founded one of the UK’s original social media agencies, Grape Digital, in 2009 in a pub in Shoreditch, in the middle of an economic crisis. Within two years had won clients including Sky Sports, Live Nation, LinkedIn, Fiat, Agent Provocateur and Southern Comfort.
"Feed embody everything that I wanted to find and everything Clients should want to find in an agency. One of the few that's 100% independently owned, creative and experimental - across all channels, with an inventive future facing culture. I am delighted to join them. It has the character, entrepreneurism and skill to flourish in the era of modern digital marketing.” Mark Malone, Director of Social and Content, Feed
