Graffiti Films shares some of the teams favourite projects with technical use of music

There is a space, where commerciality meets art. This space is created by music. There are people who specialise in commercials but cherish music as a creative tool, as an inspiration, as a way to inhale and exhale emotions. These people are Graffiti team.

Music is what drives us. Everybody likes different genres and sometimes when our tastes meet the magic happens. This is why we love producing music videos and branded content based on music. It usually makes us a team of truly creative producers.

The universe of music is infinite. There are many genres, styles, subjects, periods and themes which prove to be a boundless source of ideas.

We just have to choose one and present it through video footage. There are couple of our favourite projects:

1. Czarny HIFI feat. Małpa x Metaxa

Playing with forms, colours and pictures. It feeds the senses and shows Metaxa in a new, unconventional way. The project was inspired by 'Tango' – Zbigniew Rybczynski’s film that won the Academy Award for Best Short Animation in 1983.

2. Igorilla & Peepz — Moloch ft. Mati Szert

A Polish rap piece. Inspired by a monumental building hidden somewhere near Chernobyl. Surrealistic pictures based on the aesthetic of Eastern Europe of the 90’s. Hypnotising weird, crazy s**t.

3. Bass Astral & Igo – Bikini

Stream of consciousness, delirium of creation. It was a challenge on every level. There is a baroque ball, Ku Klux Klan, industrial spaces, robots, tribal rituals, three different kinds of film tapes, technical and technological battles, sleepless nights, massive artistic projects.

4. Avrum Mordche Schwartz – making off; premiere soon

Ethnic retro music video. A sentimental and nostalgic story about true values and timeless beliefs. It’s all about emotion and its beauty. The main idea was to create picturesque, cinematic footage. It was also one of those times when New Yorkers crossed the Ocean for good locations and even better adventure with Graffiti team.

5. H&M x Phillips x Pezet

The cooperation between Polish rap artist Pezet and the world famous brands H&M and PHILIPS proved that advertising moved to another level.

6. Peter Bjorn and John – Breakin’ point

A music video which uses the beauty of Polish landscapes. It was week-long shooting all over Poland. The cooperation with Peter Bjorn and John was a real pleasure for the entire team. We just love the memories from the set!

7. Lubella x Koko Jambo

This one was real fun! When you start your day at work with a phone call to a hen farm and say “Hello, is there any chance that your hen can be trained to dance in front of a camera?” you know it’s going to be a good day. We used a cover of a world famous song form the '90s - Mr. President’s 'Coco Jumbo' and just played it in a Polish old-school henhouse. It challenges your sense of humour but in the end, you simply cannot resist.

We love participating in the act of creation and music videos, as well as branded content, give us this kind of a thrill.
