Gorillaz Video Serves Up All the Summer Vibes with Jack Black

Gorillaz made a highly-anticipated return last year with their acclaimed fifth album, Humanz followed by a globetrotting world tour. And now the World’s Most Successful Virtual Act* have just announced a brand new studio album titled The Now Now, to be released on 29th June.

Blinkink brought together director, and Gorillaz co-creator,  Jamie Hewlett with co-directors Tim McCourt & Max Taylor from The Line and Evan Silver from Ruffian to create this sun-drenched video for first track ‘Humility’.

The live-action/animation combo follows Gorillaz singer 2D as he roller-skates down Venice Beach (brought to life through The Line's signature stunning 2D animation), encountering the highs and lows of LA life along the way, including a star cameo from Jack Black.
