The Golden Hammer awards for creativity has announced its 2017 winners.
The main prize in the creative category – the Creativity Case – was awarded to digital creative agency Leavingstone, while the main prize in the communications category – the Communications Folder – went to Golin / MullenLowe Romania.
This year’s top prize in the digital category – the Access Key – also went to Leavingstone, while the PR Frame, top prize in the public relations category, was also snapped up by Golin / MullenLowe Romania.
Unsurprisingly, the top festival award – the Network of the Year – went to the Golin agency network.
Of the 131 shortlisted campaigns, 26 pieces of work were awarded Golden Hammers, while 23 gained Silver Hammers. This year, the Grand Prix – only awarded to works rated particularly highly – was bestowed on seven pieces of work: The creative jury nominated Hungry Hungry Hamsters (Leavingstone, Georgia) in the Craft category, and The Invisibles (Walk, Poland) in the Social category; the PR jury nominated Electric Castle - Unofficial Partners (Golin / MullenLowe, Romania) in the PR category; the Communications jury nominated The lick-hiker's guide to inner strength (hasan & partners, Finland) in the Content and Entertainment category, and the Digital Iron Curtain (TRIAD Advertising, Slovakia) in Direct category, Underground Periscopes (Wiktor Leo Burnett, Slovakia) in Media category and Electric Castle - Unofficial Partners (Golin / MullenLowe, Romania) in Promo & Activation category.
