giga! has launched their new 5G eSIM, which is now available on both Apple and Android devices, in the most extraordinary way: by turning every letter ‘e’ into a scannable eSIM via a unique AR filter called the giga E-xplorer.
Created by Grey Singapore, the web-based AR filter is accessible to anyone via giga’s website and social channels. The E-xplorer then works with the smartphone camera lens to recognise any letter ‘e’ in the environment - unlocking innovative prizes and promo codes for giga’s new 5G eSIM plans.
The web app is available on any smartphone.
Given the ‘e’ theme - and staying true to giga’s brand philosophy of ‘feel good’ - anyone using the filter can stand to win exciting and unexpected prizes. Fun and feel-good rewards such as Eighty-Eight Eggs (delivered by Eric), an Exciting Evening at Dua Lipa’s Concert, or even an Enticing Eighty-Eight Pearl bubble tea.
“Launching anything into the crowded telco space is a challenge. At giga, we love rising to that challenge, not just with award-winning customer service but by entertaining people and making them feel good. The giga E-xplorer is such fun; you can scan anything from cereal boxes, number plates, or even ‘e’ shaped plant stems and stand to win one of our excellently engineered emotive prizes," said Grey Singapore creative director Peter Callaghan.
To support the campaign, giga has also partnered with KOLs in creating engaging content to promote the giga E-xplorer, plus all the fun and games to be had.
Giga’s new plans offer nationwide 5G connectivity along with convenient and secure eSIM activation, available for both iOS and Android users. Customers can look forward to faster download and upload speeds, seamless streaming, and ultra-low latency, all powered by Singapore’s fastest network!
As more of us travel for work and leisure, giga is also delighted to announce the addition of free monthly recurring roaming data to their 5G eSIM plans. Roaming data can be enjoyed in 5 popular destinations around the region: Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, South Korea, and India.
