Simba, the UK’s leading mattress manufacturer and bed products are once again sponsoring a raft of programming on five in the year ahead.
This marks the third consecutive year of the sponsorship agreement. This time, Simba brings a fresh creative approach to their idents, showcasing ‘Simba People’.
The significant sponsorship runs across ‘Evenings on 5’, ‘Drama on 5’ and ‘Streaming on 5’ meaning that Simba will be beamed into the homes of the UK each night of the week.
The ‘Simba People’ idents, created by agency partner Black & White Projects sees all manner of people getting comfy and settling down to watch TV in their own unique ways. Comfort that’s aided, of course, by a range of technologically advanced Simba products: Hybrid Mattresses, Hybrid Pillows, Heat-Tech Duvets and Storage Beds.
The work sees a fresh approach for Simba as they move into the home setting and we meet ‘The Snacker’, ‘The Chiller’, ‘The Listener’, ‘The Finder’ and ‘Trevor & Roger’, to name just a few.

Production of the idents was handled by Mrs. Baxter; and directed by Ollie Parsons through Another Film Company.
The sponsorship agreement was handled by media agency Wake The Bear.
