Get Close & Personal with the MLB Stars in 2016 Campaign from Anomaly

For many in the US, spring is synonymous with the great American game of Baseball (the fresh cut grass, caps, attending sunny games at the ballpark). And today, Anomaly is launching the 2016 MLB campaign.

In 2015, the ‘THIS’ campaign invited America to see and feel what makes baseball the greatest game on earth. Now we’re getting closer to the stars that play the game by dramatising real insights specific to their physical talents and personalities.

To really get to know these players personally, Anomaly captured defining quirks and close relationships of these athletes.  The agency spoke with Mike Trout’s Mum (#1 Fan), turned two with Jose and Carlos, dragged Paul Goldschmidt into the middle of the desert and had the reigning World Series Champs get nice and close for a fresh photo-op. 

The campaign was shot in and around Spring Training with World War Seven’s David Shafei. Baseball fan and Academy Award nominated director Todd Field enthusiastically serves as the voice of baseball for 2016. Field said, "Being the voice to introduce these incredible ballplayers is a thrill beyond compare. The only person more excited than me was the future MLB great Walter Field who is currently catching for the 8 and under Toluca Lake Dodgers."
