WPP agency Geometry Global has announced its official launch across the Middle East with an exclusive event for key stakeholders and senior clients at The Address, Downtown Dubai. A significant step towards expanding the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) network, the operation will be led by Nick Walsh who was named General Manager and will report directly to Pietro Leone, EMEA CEO.
The demand for strategic and creative activation programs both inside and outside the retail environment has been on the rise across the globe. Geometry Global was formed in June 2013 to fill this need by combining the strengths and talent of G2, JWT Action and OgilvyAction. Geometry Global’s Precision Activation offering is winning over clients globally and is now available in the Middle East. Geometry Global Dubai will act as a hub office for the rest of the region, servicing clients such as Unilever, Coca-Cola and Audi.
Geometry Global’s Chief Executive Officer, Steve Harding, said: “We are at the forefront of a sea change in our industry and we are absolutely delighted to bring our offering to this dynamic region. Geometry Global will be a key player shaping the industry for years to come and the launch of Geometry Global Dubai is a milestone in building our global presence.”
Eddie Moutran, Chairman & CEO Memac Ogilvy Group, commented: "I am incredibly proud of what we have already achieved in Dubai and now, with the support of Memac Ogilvy, Geometry Global will take those achievements to the next level. The founding principle of Geometry Global is that it will be collaborative and the new venture will strengthen the group’s expertise in precision activation. Our clients will benefit from a whole host of new resources as we grow and adapt, and we aim to set new creative standards for the industry.”
