kaboom productions recently collaborated with Front Office Sports to create a brand launch video for its new show 'Redefined,' hosted by two dynamic sports moms, Leslie Osborne and Arielle Houlihan. Directed and co-edited by Mara Whitehead, the spot combines both stills and videos of Leslie and Arielle talking about why we need to tell more stories about women who are redefining what it means to be a sports mom, an entrepreneur, a front office executive, a coach, and so much more.
“I love that Front Office Sports found kaboom via our membership with Owned By Women, and sought out a female-driven production partner for this collaboration,” says kaboom founder/EP Lauren Schwartz. “What they didn’t know, and what really excited me, is that the show’s focus on women – particularly women in sports – is a huge passion of mine. Once we started talking, I knew Mara Whitehead would be the ideal talent to bring this to life. She directs, takes stills, and edits – and also played sports through college. She and editor Naomi Goodman were a dream team. We were all in.”
"Partnering with a women-owned, women-led production team was essential in bringing our vision for ‘Redefined’ to life. From the very beginning, we felt an immediate connection with kaboom - both in terms of personality and passion. Their dedication and expertise made them the perfect match to introduce Redefined to a wider audience," comments Jonny Sonkin, EVP marketing and operations.
'Redefined,' celebrates the stories, experiences and realities of multi-dimensional women in sports who are redefining what success looks like at work, at home, and in life. The video-led show offers a community of multi-faceted women - a place to have honest conversations around the myth of juggling it all. Leslie and Arielle will talk to mothers, daughters, business partners, and major players in the women’s sports space to highlight the ways in which these individuals stretch their identities beyond their on-field or executive titles.
