FRANK Signs Benny Nicks for Commercial Representation in Canada
FRANK has signed director Benny Nicks for commercial representation in Canada.
Ben Nicholas' (Benny Nicks) work spans narrative, commercial and music videos and has worked with leading artists from Usher to James Franco.
Having worked as a writer, director, DP and editor, Ben explores the relationship between sound and image to tell contemporary stories. His approach to filmmaking is much like a composer's would be to a score, with consideration for the film's phrasing, rhythm and repetition.
Ben was born in Miami, raised in Ithaca where he attended Tisch School of the Arts and now makes his home in Montreal. In addition to commercials, Ben has directed a few short films that have played festivals worldwide including premieres at both Tribeca and SXSW.
He is eager to collaborate with Toronto's amazing creative community to produce work that rises above.
