Forever Beta Picks Up Wins for Peperami Wedding and Big Issue ‘I’m Here’

Forever Beta has won numerous awards in this year’s Drum Awards, scooping a win in the Experience category for its Peperami Wedding work and a win in the OOH category for its Big Issue ‘I’m Here’ work - which won a Bronze Cannes Lion earlier this year. 

Peperami wedding - In one of the biggest ad-based national news stories of the year, Forever Beta caused a nationwide furore by creating the first-ever Peperami-themed wedding. From a meat catapult to a green dress with the Animal taking top place on the train to a Peperami cake, this campaign re-framed weddings and reintroduced the Peperami brand beyond The Animal. 

Big Issue ‘I’m Here’ - The tech-driven OOH campaign shone a spotlight on Big Issue vendors who have felt the sting of the pandemic with their source of income and connection to the public deteriorating due to the quietness of the streets. The project used beacon technology placed within vendors’ jackets that linked to OOH billboards that displayed ads featuring faces to draw attention to where they are located. Establishing this relationship further, the technology also included a barcode that was available for people to subscribe directly to the relevant vendor.
