Football Meets Dance in 'Live the Goal' Promo for Goal AW19

The worlds of football and dance are closely intertwined. They both share a sense of movement, flare and personality. With two central characters, FAMILIA director SASHINSKI’s film brings these worlds together across a series of wet London locations exhibiting the Goal AW/19 range.

Toby Walsham, executive producer at FAMILIA, commented: "Sashinski (aka Sasha) is football obsessed and has a long lasting affiliation with dance through his music video work. His passion for both worlds is beautifully presented in this film for GOAL. Sasha and the team were left no choice but to embrace the rain, in the end giving the film a beautiful aesthetic. After all, who doesn’t love a free wet down?"

Sashinski, director, commented: "The brand's slogan 'Live The Goal' refers to that first love of football and later applying that to future ambition. In this film we wanted to explore the similarities of football and dance. We cast dancers who had an earlier history of playing football, and working with Darcy Wallace we designed and executed a sequence of contemporary choreography across four uninhabited urban locations in London, while showcasing looks for the AW19 Goal range."
