But while it’s difficult to escape the political context of the debate, what about the day-to-day plight of the junior doctor? Well, BBC documentary ‘Inside Out’ gives an all-important, lesser-discussed insight into their lives.
From post-traumatic stress to - in some severe cases - suicidal thoughts, it delicately tackles the unfortunate reality faced by many junior doctors. Hospital ward footage and heartfelt accounts straight from the source ensure the matter is truthfully yet delicately conveyed.
Naturally, the music needed to follow suite and that’s where Focus Music came in. Several tracks from Focus Music’s album ‘Documentary- Health’ have been used in the latest episode.
