Flintoff Bowled Over by Jacob’s Cream Crackers

United Biscuits (UBUK) is bringing Jacob’s Cream Crackers back on TV throughout August in a £1.5m campaign with sporting legend, Freddie Flintoff.  Emphasising the versatility of Jacob’s Cream Crackers at meal-times, the campaign will grow further awareness of savoury biscuits amongst consumers and drive sales for retailers.

Simply something for everyone

The TV advert portrays a mystery individual carefully piecing together their perfect Jacob’s Cream Cracker. As a culinary cricket pitch begins to take form, complete with the wicket, bat and ball, Freddie Flintoff is finally unveiled in his cricket whites as he goes to take a bite out of his tasty creation.

A voiceover highlights the simplistic ingredients used to make Jacob's Cream Crackers, with no artificial additives or flavours used. The advert also highlights the uniqueness and flexibility of each Jacob’s Cream Cracker and how consumers can use different toppings to put their own spin on the snack.

The creative builds upon the success of the previous Jacob’s Cream Crackers TV advert featuring TV gardening personality, Alan Titchmarsh.  The TV creative saw Alan create his perfect cracker topping in the image of a garden on his Jacob’s Cream Cracker.
