This recognition reflects the commitment and dedication with which we approach our projects at Ogilvy Colombia. I want to thank FILSA; Baylor and the Colombian Red Cross for trusting Filter Caps and being part of this initiative, and the entire Colombian, regional, and Global Ogilvy team that put all their effort and support into Filter Caps."
In Colombia, almost four million people live in desert areas that do not have the necessary hydration resources. After undergoing a thorough process of hard technical analysis, Ogilvy Colombia created and developed Filter Caps. In partnership with FILSA, they produce 1.000 biodegradable devices capable of recovering more than 1.8M litres of water in a year, potentially impacting more than 10.000 people.
Filter Caps is the first 100% biodegradable device capable of recovering and mineralizing water to make it safe for consumption. Crafted with 3D additive technology and made from sweet corn starch-based resin, Filter Caps sport a universal and lightweight transportable design ensuring worldwide usability. Filter Caps work from layers of metals, minerals, and natural substrates, retaining bacteria and impurities, and ending with a layer that mineralizes the water. It also provides characteristics of alkaline, mineralized, and hydrogen water.
