FFS (For Fans Sobbing) is an unofficial helpline for teary-eyed football fans. And during this topsy-turvy tournament, there’s been a whole lot of blubbing.
“Supporters need support too,” said FFS co-founders David Finch and Mark Teece, who originally set up the helpline for long-suffering England fans. “We’re proud of the boys for giving us a semi, but we know how much it hurts to flop out of a tournament. That’s why we carried on the helpline for other fans.”
And FFS didn’t stop there. For fans seeking a more permanent cure, FFS turned to science. DNA testing can tell where your ancestors came from. Which means you can find out if there’s another country you could support.
FFS has already given away four DNA test to fans wanting to find their 2nd team. They’re now looking for a supporter who’s lost all hope to take the last one. “We thought a German fan might fancy it.”

FFS was founded by David Finch and Mark Teece, creatives from Digitas. The spots were directed by Jonas McQuiggin and produced by Independent Films.
