WithFeeling crafts the catchy song for Festive Studios latest effort

WithFeeling are original music, sound design, and sonic branding experts. The team recently had the chance to work on a project with UK client BARRETT.TV and Festive Studio on a customised Christmas experience called 'Fix the Sleigh.'

WithFeeling were responsible for writing the film’s snappy original Christmas music, additional tracks, sound design, foley, and even Santa’s voiceover, performed by Guy Harris of Voiceoverguy. WithFeeling played various roles in this project and contributed its expertise and talents to the final product.

WithFeeling worked together to develop a catchy musical hook with the help of the BARRETT.TV and Festive Studio teams. Together with the clients, the team devised the song’s lyrics, ensuring they were memorable, catchy, and simple enough for small children to sing along to.

Users can buy a personalised movie of the finished work, 'Fix the Sleigh,' a seven-minute Christmas film, on the Festive Studio website. The movie will feature the user’s name (said by Santa), location, age, and more by entering a few facts. The film can be quickly accessed from any phone, tablet, computer, or smart TV and is a beautiful souvenir that may be preserved for years to come.

Creating sound design that would take the viewer to the North Pole, the residence of Santa Claus was a challenging and enjoyable component of the project. To provide viewers with a surreal, immersive experience, WithFeeling's sound designers put a lot of effort into their job. To create a credible and authentic North Pole environment, the team used a range of sound effects, including the sound of reindeer feet on snow, the jingling of bells, and the sound of a blazing fire.

WithFeeling were in charge of recording Santa’s voiceover, which Guy Harris of Voiceoverguy did. His voice gave the movie an extra layer of realism by giving the audience the impression that Santa was speaking to them directly.
