Ermenegildo Zegna - renowned for its masterful craftsmanship and tailoring – meets Fear of God’s modern take on luxury in an exciting partnership that will include a four handed men's collection and accessories.
Fear of God’s founder Jerry Lorenzo explains how the two labels, which appear to be world’s apart in terms of aesthetics, found a mutual creative ground to develop the new collection. "Fear of God’s creative endeavors are first birthed from a place of purpose and honesty,” he says. “With a shared true desire to create the modern man’s wardrobe, we partnered with Ermenegildo Zegna to establish a timeless collection rooted in freedom, sophistication, and elegance. Through this partnership, we’ve had the opportunity to bring our perspective of ‘American Luxury’ to the hands and craftsmanship of Italy’s best tailors.”
Artistic director of Zegna Alessandro Sartori also explained his interest in collaborating with Fear of God, adding: “My design studio at Zegna is an on going experimental laboratory, where we merge innovation, craft, and techniques to conceive garments starting from designing fabrics. Zegna and Fear of God are both inspired by the same sentiment towards a unique craftsmanship, giving life to a new form of hybrid elegance and independent style.”
The campaign film was directed by frequent Fear of God collaborator Lane Stewart. YOUTH MODE sourced the soundtrack, opting for Gary Hyde - 'Waste of Time' via The Numero Group label.
