FCB Brazil has announced the hiring of Mateus Madureira as media general director. Also known as Madu, he will work closely with the new media VP, Tiago Santos.
With a Business degree from Universidade Federal de São Carlos, Mateus boasts extensive experience in media and communication strategies for large brands, in addition to digital and online marketing, and campaigns focusing on branding, performance, and social media.
He started his career in the retail and performance team at VML, and had stints at CUBOCC/Flagcx and DAVID. He has worked with such major accounts as Burger King, Coca-Cola, Mondelez, Nestlé, Unilever, Playstation, Netflix, C&A, and Dafiti, to name a few. He has also been a professor of digital marketing at Digital House Brasil School.
In 2019, Mateus won the Young Lions Brasil Award in the Media Creativity category, and participated in the Cannes Festival alongside the Brazilian delegation. He also worked in various campaigns that won awards at festivals like Cannes, Effie Latam, Effie Brasil, Clio Awards, El Ojo, Wave Festival and Creative Club.
