Aiming to make internal processes more agile and integrated, and aiming to optimise the agency's operations and contributing to enhance deliverables and profitability, FCB Brasil is announcing the creation of the operations department. The new department will be headed by Claudia Schneider, who will report directly to Ricardo John, CEO and CCO.
Claudia will step into her new role and will also keep her current attributions as brands and business director for the agency, a position she has held since last February. The new department will start with a 12-person team, and Renata Reigota, who's been at the agency since 2020, will be Projects Director, leading the entire team of project managers.
For the last three years, FCB has been working with a squad methodology, which combines an agile mindset and design thinking with co-creation and modular, cross-discipline teams, in order to develop solutions for complex problems.
"One of the main challenges for the new department will be to detail the processes and best practices of this winning methodology, in order to turn it into a recurring process that will be even closer to our teams," says Ricardo John.
"Our focus will be on making agency operations more energy-efficient, leading to a lighter workplace and to enhanced performance in terms of strategy, creative, and finance. FCB believes in giving people autonomy and knows this can only be done when processes are clearly defined and different departments work together in an integrated manner," says Claudia Schneider.
