Creative agency F&B Huskies has been awarded a Grand Effie for its powerful ‘The World’s Strongest Women’ campaign, developed for Allianz Ireland and Women’s Aid. Honoured at the first in-person Effie Awards Ireland at Dublin’s RDS, the agency also scooped up Gold in the Finance & Insurance Services Category and Gold in the Media Content & Partnership/Sponsorship Effectiveness Category.
Having previously received several international accolades for the same campaign, this recognition marks the first-ever Grand Effie bestowed upon an Irish agency, highlighting the exceptional nature of the campaigns chosen annually across Effie regions worldwide.
The campaign focuses on four women who showcase real strength in the face of domestic abuse. The film pays tribute to these courageous women and shows them that they have incredible strength both to survive and to act – to call Women’s Aid for help. The jury carefully selected this campaign for the Grand Effie due to its embodiment of top-tier creative effectiveness, showcasing clear insight and strategic approach that paved the way for highly influential creative output.
Jane Madden, strategy director at F&B Huskies, comments on the exciting award win, “At F&B Huskies, we are committed to creating the best work in the world, which, by definition, has to be the most effective work in the world. 'World's Strongest Women' empowers survivors to seek help, by showing them that they are stronger than they think.
We're incredibly proud of our client partners in Allianz and the transformative impact of our work with them. This Grand Effie proves, once again, that great work that attracts positive change in the world can also deliver growth for business. And that is the true mark of the best work in the world.”
