Dating app Fruitz has selected Glasnost as its creative PR agency for the Dutch market. Glasnost, part of ACE, will work to increase the app's visibility among Gen Z through earned PR, campaigns, and partnerships. Fruitz is one of the fastest-growing dating apps in Europe and aims to expand its market share in the Netherlands. The collaboration has already begun.
Tanita Mierau, country manager for the Netherlands, Belgium, and Switzerland at Fruitz, describes the Dutch market as interesting, progressive, and open-minded: "Our users are mainly Gen Z-ers who find Fruitz to be a safe environment to be open about their preferences, whether it's for romance or to explore their sexuality. Fruitz encourages open and honest communication about dating expectations through user-friendly fruit metaphors. With the cherry, grape, watermelon, and peach, users can playfully indicate whether they are looking for something serious, a date, something casual, or a one-time adventure. In February 2022, Fruitz was acquired by Bumble Inc., the parent company of platforms such as Bumble and Badoo. "Bold forward-thinking brands like Fruitz feel like a natural match.
