Digital agency Modus Operandi has completed the first major initiative for client Belvedere: a completely redesigned website featuring brand videos conceived by Modus Operandi and directed by Christopher Ferguson via sister company ModOp Films. Part of the #knowthedifference campaign, the website highlights the Collection, Cocktails, Culture and Character of the World’s Original Luxury Vodka. Modus Operandi also manages the Belvedere robust social media channels, providing original content and cultivating conversations surrounding the many facets of Belvedere culture.
Crafted in the Polmos Zyrardow distillery for over 100 years, Belvedere – which means beautiful to see – is created the way Polish artisans have been doing for six centuries. As beautifully showcased on the website, Belvedere is as passionate about making a difference as it is about making the world’s best vodka. Global responsibility and cultural events go hand in hand with the distinctive brand. Two signature Cannes events, one with Theophilus London and another with Rita Ora, are examples of the brand’s recent events.
“The goal of the website redesign was to modernize Belvedere’s digital presence as more of a luxury lifestyle brand,” says Modus Operandi Creative Director Jay Gundzik. “We use creative social campaigns to activate and drive their consumers to the global Belvedere site. Once there, they can get a feel for the brand through a series of creative branded videos and short documentary-style films. Consumers can also find new cocktail recipes and take a deeper dive into Belvedere’s culture and character.”
For the brand film, Modus Operandi Creative Director Jay Gundzik collaborated with sister company ModOp Films and director Christopher Ferguson. Ferguson is a director and photographer known for his extensive work with fashion, beauty and other lifestyle brands including Wrangler, Industrie, Lee and All About Eve.
