This Christmas, creative agency Fallon and male cancer charity
Orchid have teamed up to encourage the nation to CHECK YOUR BAUBALLS.
From today, a limited number of bespoke, festive Bauballs are available for purchase at www.checkyourbauballs.com – beautifully crafted Christmas decorations that resemble a gentlemen’s testicles. All the proceeds will go straight back to the charity, which was set up to save men’s lives from testicular, prostate and penile cancers.
The website also carries clear and helpful advice for men to encourage them to check themselves regularly. The message is crucial: if testicular cancer is spotted at an early stage, there is about a 98% chance of cure.
The project has already been endorsed by a range of celebrities including Radio One DJs Nick Grimshaw and Greg James, Loose Woman Jane McDonald and Made In Chelsea star Andy Jordan who have all been photographed with their Bauballs, ready to hang on their Christmas trees.
This is Fallon’s first ever product to market, and depending on the success of this year’s effort, will hopefully roll out every Christmas in the future.
The creative team at Fallon behind the project said, ‘It’s great to see our idea develop from a silly three-second doodle, to finished shiny product. We hope that by raising a smile, we manage to raise some much needed attention to a largely preventable issue through the cancer charity Orchid’.
