Executive Producer Kayt Hall Joins Cut+Run

Cut+Run is proud to announce the arrival of Executive Producer Kayt Hall to their London HQ. Joining the ranks of already established personnel, Kayt carries with her extensive experience from all sectors of the industry.

"I’m thrilled to have joined Cut+Run as their Executive Producer and to have the opportunity of working with such a talented bunch of people. Cut+Run have always been on my radar for the fantastic quality of work they produce and I’m delighted to now be part of their team." Said Kayt.

Growing up in Johannesburg, Kayt always had a love for the arts and film, spending her teens studying at a vocational ballet school before moving onto fashion design.

Upon leaving school Kayt stitched her passions together, taking a job assisting then producing Television Commercials for a retail fashion house, where she discovered the world of advertising.

 “As well as Cut+Run’s incredibly established commercial work, it’s been such a pleasure reviewing the amazing fashion films and dance pieces edited through Cut+Run’s new Promos+Content Division - taking me back to where I started out  as a dancer and where some of my passions still lie. I’m really looking forward to developing the division along with the other exciting growth we have planned for 2015.”

Moving to London at the age of 25 Kayt gained invaluable experience agency side, producing for M&C Saatchi and Ogilvy & Mather, before dipping her toes into production - working as a Senior Producer at Passion Pictures & then spearheading the launch of the Brand New School's London offices.

Kayt joins Cut+Run having established herself in all areas of post-production, producing at some of London’s top sound, VFX and edit houses - giving her a deep understanding the producing creative work from start to finish.

“I feel incredibly fortunate to have been given the chance to work across agency, production and post in my career history.  It allows me to have a bigger picture overview for each project I work on and with todays challenges on most productions it’s a real benefit.”
