Didn't we all dream of something big when we were children? An infinite world with endless possibilities? In his most recent work 'Inner Child,' new German talent and multi skilled tempomedia director Andreas Bruns takes us on an adventurous journey back to the dreams of our childhood. While the film is a promotion for Harley-Davidson, the brand was not actually the client for this film.
It has become a popular move in today's advertising world to celebrate individuality. But Andreas Bruns is not presenting another story of self fulfillment by showing somebody escaping reality. This film is a strong symbolic statement and a way to show the journey towards personal freedom with all its ups and downs.
Andreas Bruns combines the individual search for ones inner child with the strong image of Harley-Davidson. the brand's German affiliation writes about the work: 'a film which reflects like no other the desire for freedom.'
The epic imagery created by the young director makes the film a true piece of cinema for which he received a first prize at this year's Young Director Award in Cannes.
