Agency expands senior leadership team, appointing Stephanie Hanley as chief brand officer and promoting Jeff Henry to EVP, director of creative operations

EP+Co is announcing the hire of its first-ever chief brand officer, Stephanie Hanley. In her new role, Stephanie will serve as head of growth as well as the primary lead for the account management department across EP+Co’s Greenville and New York offices. She will report to agency president Kat Shafer. Jeff Henry, a 20-year EP+Co veteran, was promoted to EVP, director of creative operations and will report to chief creative officer John Cornette.

The news follows an exciting season of business wins for the agency, including Rich Products Corporation, Heluva Good!, Country Crock, Summer’s Eve, and Monistat.

“Stephanie’s extensive experience in client services, leading global brands, and her track record of driving agency growth is undeniably impressive. We have complete faith that she is the person we need to usher in a new era of Building Belief with our current partners — and that she’ll have immense success bringing in a range of new clients, too,” said president Kat. “I also couldn’t be more proud to see Jeff join us on the leadership team. We began our careers at EP+Co together on the account side, and I’ve watched him learn and master everything there is to know about this business. His ability to navigate the most complex problems and effortlessly deliver true creative solutions is unrivalled.”

Most recently, Stephanie served as head of account management at the Atlanta-based agency Fitzco where she played a key role in doubling the agency’s size and, in 2022, earning AdAge’s Small Agency of the Year Award.

“EP+Co has a well-earned reputation for producing creative work that Builds Belief,” said Stephanie. “I look forward to collaborating with the team and our clients to continue that legacy, and I’m certainly excited to tap into EP+Co’s toolbox, including their ever-expanding AI capabilities and their full-service production house, CR8, to do so.”

Previously, Stephanie worked in account management at top agencies including BBDO New York, The Richards Group, Publicis New York, and Grey New York. Her client roster includes McCormick-owned brands French’s and Cholula, Welch’s, Hilton, Coca-Cola, The Home Depot, New Balance, Guinness, Red Stripe, L’Oréal, and more. She attended the S.I. Newhouse School Of Public Communications and College Of Arts And Sciences at Syracuse University where she earned a Bachelor of Science, Advertising and Political Science.

Jeff began his career as a junior account executive at EP+Co in the early 2000s before transitioning into the world of brand activations, where he oversaw all elements of the agency’s experiential team, including client partnerships, production, revenue growth, and quality control. Throughout his career with EP+Co, he has proudly Built Belief with icons including PUMA, ESPN, Men’s Wearhouse, Denny’s, Lowe’s Home Improvement, Verizon, and more. Jeff received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Furman University.
