Simon will apply his 25 years’ experience in the communications industry to advance Prostate Cancer UK’s approach to communications

Prostate Cancer UK, the UK's largest men's health charity, has appointed Simon Peck, Group Managing Director of global communications network Engine UK to its Board of Trustees. Simon will take up an advisory position on the charity’s Engagement, Fundraising and Communications Committee (EFCC), whilst continuing his current role at Engine.

Simon will apply his 25 years’ experience in the communications industry to help further advance Prostate Cancer UK’s approach to communications, fundraising and engagement. His role as Group MD of the UK’s largest independent communications network will allow him to bring insights from private sector campaigns as well as advise on best-in-class communications for future campaigns driven by the charity.

Simon Peck, Group Managing Director, Engine UK said: “I am hugely excited to be a part of this award-winning, forward-thinking charity. Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK, with one man dying every 45 minutes and over 40,000 new cases diagnosed every year.

Prostate Cancer UK is already doing fantastic work to fund research and improve prostate cancer treatment, and I look forward to playing my part in helping them to lead the fight against the disease.”

Angela Culhane, Chief Executive at Prostate Cancer UK, said: “We are very pleased Simon has chosen to join the fight against prostate cancer by joining our Board of Trustees. He comes with a wealth of business experience gained through many years in the communications sector, which will complement our in-house team and help them to develop. His understanding of managing and governing large, complex organisations will also be valuable to our mission to tame prostate cancer in 10 years.”
