electriclime° Wins Gold at CICLOPE International Festival of Craft for Betr Film

electriclime° has won Gold at the CICLOPE International Festival of Craft 2023 for the Betr film 'Sport is Everything' for the Australian market.

Announced at the prestigious ceremony in Berlin, the film took home the award in the Cinematography category.

The CICLOPE International Festival of Craft is renowned for recognising exceptional talent and creativity in the field of filmmaking.

Filmed over five days, the Betr project was directed by Leigh Powis, with Charlie Owens as director of photography. 

The electriclime° team in Australia, led by executive producer Shahn Devendran, partnered with Deloitte Digital for the project, with ProdCo’s Ian Pons Jewell as director consultant.

Executive producer Shahn Devendran said, “We’re beyond honoured by the award. This ode to sport fans is testament to the great things that can be achieved when brilliant creative is brought to life by an incredibly talented team who are relentlessly passionate about the craft.”

The director’s cut of the film includes a tribute to the late Grace Rached, production coordinator at electriclimeº Australia, who passed away in the tragic Halloween incident in Seoul while on holiday.
