Full-service indie creative agency Duncan Channon today announced the appointment of Cristián Costa as group creative director. Cristián will lead creative for the agency’s UNDO account, a program of the California Department of Public Health which aims to put an end to the deadly tobacco epidemic in California. Duncan Channon has been working with UNDO for over a decade.

Cristián brings over 15 years of creative agency experience, working across multiple categories including technology, consumer goods, healthcare, and entertainment. Prior to joining Duncan Channon, Cristián worked for Ogilvy, Y&R, 180LA, R/GA, Saatchi & Saatchi and served as group creative director at GALLEGOS United, where he played a pivotal role in developing and executing campaigns for global brands such as Got Milk?, Toyota, Crest, DuPont, Walmart, and Colgate.

His work has been recognised with numerous industry awards including Cannes Lions, Clios, and Effies.

“We’re thrilled to have someone so invested in the kind of civic work that DC does joining the agency. Cris is a strategically minded, innovative thinker and we know he’ll bring a new and fresh perspective to the team,” says Michael Lemme, chief creative officer at Duncan Channon.

Cristián’s role within the agency was previously held by Anne-Elisco Lemme, who will be retiring this August.
