Droga5 announced that Niklas Lindstrom has joined the New York headquarters as Head of Interactive Production. Reporting to Chief Creation Officer, Sally-Ann Dale, Lindstrom will lead the department in managing all interactive projects.
Lindstrom joins Droga5 from Sweden-based Forsman & Bodenfors where he was Head of Digital, most notably producing work for Volvo Trucks. Prior to, he headed up interactive production at BBDO New York leading interactive projects for AT&T, FedEx, GE, Mars and HBO. For six years, he was partner and VP Interactive at B-Reel where he helped grow the company’s founding office and launched B-Reel New York - the production company’s first office outside Sweden. Lindstrom led B-Reel New York producing several projects, including award-winning Doritos “Hotel 626”, Google “Chrome Fastball” and Axe “100 Girls”.
"Niklas has been in leadership roles on both sides of the equation - agency and on the production side. This is hugely valuable to us,” says Sally-Ann Dale. “Given his diverse background and collaborative spirit, Niklas is perfectly suited for this role. We have already achieved and grown within the interactive space and as the agency continues to rise, Niklas' role will be to define what that looks like. We are very happy to have Niklas at Droga5."
"What attracted me to Droga5 was how progressive they are,” says Lindstrom. “It is an agency making smart moves that are indicative of being a different kind of agency, like gaining better insights of culture through their WME partnership. It’s all about the biggest and most appropriate canvas when it comes to the work here and I’m excited to be a part of that.”
