Draftfcb to present SoLoMo The Truth and Opportunity at Eurobest Advertising Festival 2011
Draftfcb will host a seminar called “SoLoMo – The Truth and Opportunity” at the 4th Eurobest Festival to be held 28 – 30 November, this year in Lisbon.  Martin Talks, Draftfcb London’s president of digital and global digital lead, will explore the latest addition to the industry’s buzzword bingo, SoLoMo: Social, Local and Mobile.
 
Brands have Facebook pages, make local offers and have tried local apps, but many have found these have not generated huge success.  This presentation looks again at the SoLoMo opportunities, shows brands taking innovative approaches and gives a practical guide about how to make the most of SoLoMo.
 
“It can’t be denied that Social, Local and Mobile are huge trends, but knowing this is not enough,” said Martin Talks. “In my presentation, I will get underneath the obvious by analyzing the opportunity SoLoMo presents and giving my take on how to leverage it.”
 
Talks lives and breathes digital with a proven track record in delivering rapidly scalable digital strategies and communications. In 2001, he co-founded Blue Barracuda which in May this year was acquired by Draftfcb. At Blue Barracuda, Talks spearheaded the growth of the agency to over 60 staff based in London and Tallin, Estonia, and produced award-winning work for over 40 leading clients including eBay, T.G.I. Fridays, the UK Film Council, and Roche Pharmaceutical, across all digital disciplines.
 
The seminar will take place at the Cinema Sao Jorge in Lisbon on Wednesday 29th November, at 10.35 am.
