Digital agency DPDK today announces it has expanded its team with six new hires across the business: account director Eva Koegenboeg, producer Laura Tuininga, developers Marnix Janssen and Colin van Eenige and motion designers Trevis Janssen and Ryan Schuijer.
The newly created roles come on the back of a period of intense growth for the 38-person strong agency that was recently nominated for three Webby Awards.
Dutch-born account director Eva Koegenboeg has worked in Paris for the last six years at digital agencies Wunderman and Razorfish Paris (formerly Nurun). Prior to that she worked in the Netherlands on several global accounts such as L'Oréal Paris, Microsoft, Siemens and P&G.
Laura Tuininga is DPDK’s new producer. In the past she worked in the marcom department of IT-provider The Future Group and advertising and media agency Toob as a project manager. She has also worked client-side at T-Mobile.
Developers Marnix Janssen and Colin van Eenige, and motion designers Trevis Janssen and Ryan Schuijer all started their careers as graduate trainees at DPDK and have now been given permanent roles within the company.
Founder and CEO of DPDK, Pim van Helten explains: “We are increasingly being asked to work on high profile, international projects and, therefore, we are strengthening our offering with talented people who understand cross-borders communications.
“The fact that fresh, young creative talents are able to grow within DPDK is a great compliment for the agency and also adds fuel to DPDK’s growth.”
Koegenboeg adds: “The agency world is changing, just like the needs of clients, and today digital is the core of their communications, making results extremely measurable. I have joined DPDK because the agency taps into the market with great flexibility. It’s a strategic partner, a production agency, design boutique, experiential studio and a usability specialist. With my experience and expertise I will be, among others, focussing on optimising client services and putting DPDK on the international map to an even greater degree.”
Tuininga comments: “I have missed the speed of the agency world, with creative colleagues and the pace that these kinds of projects brings. In DPDK, I’ve found a strong digital and innovative agency with enthusiastic people making great work.”
