Dogs Trust Ireland’s ‘Sold a Pup’ Wins Special Award at TAMI Awards 2021

Dogs Trust Ireland animation produced by Cardel and directed by Katarina Lundquist has been awarded a TAMI.

The spot was voiced by Irish singer, songwriter & composer Lisa Hannigan with an original score by composer Diego Ayalar.

The thought-provoking TV Ad aims to show potential puppy buyers the shocking reality behind the illegal sale of dog’s.

When Cardel was approached by Dogs Trust Ireland, it already firmly believed in animal rights and knew this was something it felt a sense of responsibility for and were fully committed to. Over the years Cardel built up a strong network of professionals and Katarina really was the perfect director for the job. Her ethic and spirit really just captured the tone and sensibility for this project with a real authenticity. Her ability to balance the message in a way that was direct but never overpowering is a fine line and shows real insight. It was a tight schedule, but Cardel collaborated with Stratostorm and the whole team really delivered 100%. We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved and our collaboration with Dogs Trust.
