Cat owners love their cats and want to treat them like they are a member of the family. They want nothing more than to have a deep understanding of their cat so that they can provide them with exactly what they need to be happy and healthy. We all know cats can’t speak English.
But what if cat owners could speak Cat?
No need to adjust your screen – there isn’t really such a thing as a language learning program for humans to understand cats. Together with BBDO Toronto, Whiskas created this parody digital campaign in order to show one thing – the fact that cats love the delicious protein in Whiskas. This compelling claim motivates cat owners to purchase, but consumers don’t always associate Whiskas with a high amount of protein.
When consumers watch the hilarious videos, produced by BBDO’s Flare, they will find out that all cats really want is the delicious protein in Whiskas. The campaign launched with a series of videos promoting the CSL product – testimonials and all. On the website, cat owners could even use our Cat Translator tool to help them understand exactly what their cat really wants. The campaign launched June 7, 2017.
