Dramamine introduces Advanced Herbals, a new line of non-medicated products that provide nausea relief in a safe for everyday use, whether you’re experiencing motion sickness, morning sickness, upset stomach or stress induced nausea. Highlighting this launch is the debut of Advanced Herbals Nausea + Stress Support lozenge, formulated to provide nausea relief with the added benefit of containing ashwagandha used to help reduce stress.
This launch is part of Dramamine’s sponsorship of FX’s 'The Bear' season three, which launched June 26th on Hulu, aligning with the frenetic nature of the show and Advanced Herbals’ new product. The whimsical Drama Llama is shown navigating everyday stressors in humorous scenarios, from elevator rides to backstage panics.
This is the first time an entirely CGI llama will be showcased by either Dramamine or Advanced Herbals, opening new possibilities for the still young spokes character. The campaign builds upon the momentum of the recent success of Dramamine’s 'The Last Barf Bag', which debuted in April. This campaign paid tribute to the lost world of Barf Bags, winning a Grand Prix in Health and Wellness at the 2024 Cannes Lions Awards, and was named as an official selection for the Tribeca Film Festival in New York.
Directed by Jonathan Gurvit of 1stAveMachine, this campaign includes a diverse range of media formats: from OLV spots (one 30-second and two 15-second spots) to ranging social media content. The campaign will be leveraged on platforms such as YouTube, Meta, TikTok, Streaming TV (Hulu), Connected TV, and Programmatic Display, ensuring broad reach and relevance.
Erica Nesbitt, senior brand manager at Prestige Consumer Healthcare Company said, “Following the success of ‘The Last Barf Bag’ campaign, we are excited to bring our Drama Llama into the spotlight to launch Advanced Herbals Nausea + Stress Support, from the makers of Dramamine. It’s made with ginger to soothe nausea and ashwagandha traditionally used to help calm your body and mind, so now you can Ditch the Drama Llama of Nausea and Stress!”
