Emotional film captures the ups and downs of fostering

Directors 'Distinct' Shoot Compelling Film for Wandsworth Council Fostering

This emotional film sensitively follows the often nerve-wracking and emotional journey of fostering. The ups and downs are filmed in a realistic documentary style which draws the viewer in to this honest story about the the challenges of fostering but also the immense rewards.

Some of the kids are 'suicidally uncaring'. The abuse they have suffered was such that they have become used to pain and inflicting pain. Children being effectively abandoned by the traditional society.

The film shows what a privilege it is to share moments with these young people who have gone on to lead lives they can really be proud of.

The film also helps to break down some myths surrounding eligibility for fostering.
