Director Tobias Nathan Joins Film Construction for NZ Representation
Tobias Nathan, whose work is synonymous with inventive storytelling and visual sophistication, brings rich and varied experience to Aotearoa’s advertising landscape.

Hailing from Los Angeles and now working in Sydney, Tobias has already made his mark on the advertising world. His campaigns for eminent brands like Apple Music, Samsung, Infiniti, Vodafone, Nespresso, Grey Goose, Remy Martin, Cadillac, and KIA have been impactful and memorable. His music videos for top-tier artists such as G Eazy, Miguel, Lauv, Walk the Moon, and Alessia Cara boast over one billion views, a testament to his narrative skill and visual appeal.
Tobias' journalistic roots lend a unique depth to his work, allowing him to delve into the complexities of the human condition. His 2019 documentary short, 'Breaking the Circle', which follows a group of female samba dancers in Brazil as they defy cultural norms, garnered critical acclaim from The Clio Awards, The Telly Awards, and The Lovie Awards. He is currently developing a feature film and a TV series, while working in the creative hubs of Los Angeles, Sydney, and now New Zealand.
Tobias’s melding of journalistic scrutiny and stylistic filmmaking positions him as an exciting, fresh voice for the New Zealand market.
