Director-duo Cherry Cobra Signs to Hobby Film

Cherry Cobra is the creative collaboration of directors & art directors Johanna Nyberg and Nathalie Hallman. Based in rich environments and captivating characters, their stories reflect their love of retro-nostalgia and a maximalist approach to film. The duo are excited to bring their striking visuals and attitude to more commercial productions.

With a background in visual communication, both directors have previously embarked on solo careers. Hallman’s short film ’Ivy Vigilante’ won numerous awards at international film festivals whereas Nyberg’s latest short film, ’Comedians’, was selected for Sundance Ignite, the famous film festival’s new talent showcase. 

The duo’s signing closely follows the addition of Danish director Torben Kjelstrup to Hobby Film’s roster. Hobby will represent the duo for commercial work across the Nordics and other key markets.
