Global marketing and technology agency DigitasLBi has appointed Lorna
Carmichael as Talent Director, UK.
Talent and capability development specialist
Carmichael joins after a year at BP, where she was part of the team responsible
for deploying a new global online talent management system. Prior to this, she
spent eight years as part of Accenture’s Strategy Consulting practise,
designing solutions to complex organisational challenges, and managing major
transformation projects.
Carmichael also has diverse experience across FMCG,
pharmaceuticals and alcoholic drinks, consulting on large programmes at
companies including Unilever, GlaxoSmithKline, and SABMiller.
As Talent Director, UK Carmichael will lead
DigitasLBi’s team of Talent Partners, and further develop the agency’s
industry-leading approach to learning and development and talent management.
In recent years, DigitasLBi has launched a number
of initiatives aimed at attracting and retaining the industry’s best talent in
order to help clients transform their businesses for the digital age, including
the award-winning Summer of Love campaign.
Carmichael will report to Chief Talent Officer,
International, Sophie Ling and will be based in the agency’s London office.
