Digitas, the Connected Marketing Agency and part of Publicis Groupe, is bolstering its media team with the appointment of Toby Ruddock as client partner for APAC. Toby is a proven media practitioner, with more than twenty years experience across various agency networks and continents.
Most recently, Toby was the global client officer at Havas Media Group in Dubai, where he was responsible for Emirates Group (Airlines, SkyCargo, Dnata + others), media strategy and investments across 70+ countries. Prior to this, Toby spent three years at MediaCom in the Middle East as regional strategic director and head of media beyond advertising, where he led local teams in developing and successfully implementing strategies for local, regional and global agency clients.
His experience extends far beyond the Middle East as Toby started his career at MediaCom in Melbourne before relocating back the the UK where he spent almost a decade split between Starcom and Mindshare.
In his role at Digitas, Toby will be responsible for managing the regional Visa business across APAC where he will drive and evolve the creative data-led communications agenda for the Visa One Team. Toby will report into Charlie Newbery, chief media officer APAC, Digitas and Rika Sharma, managing director, Digitas Singapore.
