Detour Films Welcomes Matty Brown

Detour Films announces the signing of innovative young director and cinematographer Matty Brown.

 

Brown’s emotional and imaginative work ranges from poetic short films like “Hectometer – World Record,” and “Dreaming It{aly}, to beautifully crafted music video’s such as The Doll Lab’s “Birth of Bee Bop” or Anderson & Roe’s “The Piano.”

 

His work has been featured in The New York Times, presented at the Royal Albert Hall and has been discussed and analyzed in countless universities around the world.  Brown was also the guest-of-honor and keynote speaker at the 5 Minutos Nacional Film Festival in Salvador, Brazil this year where they screened 6 of his films.
