Global digital agency DEPT® has welcomed Tiah Slattery as its new head of influencer for the UK. In the newly-created role, Tiah brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in influencer marketing and will be responsible for spearheading influencer strategies and campaigns for clients including PepsiCo, eBay, Trainline, and easyJet.
Tiah brings 360-degree experience to the influencer space, having worked across partnerships and client services roles at Refinery29 and Vice Media in Australia, before focusing on niche influencer strategies. With a proven track record collaborating with global brands like Coca-Cola, L'Oréal, SharkNinja, and Estée Lauder, Tiah integrates brands seamlessly into content. She leverages her strategic and creative expertise to craft authentic, impactful campaigns with some of the world’s biggest creators and celebrities.
“I am so impressed with the level of craft and brilliance of the work DEPT® has been producing, and I am beyond stoked to be able to help them be at the forefront of the influencer marketing revolution. We're fortunate to work with brands that have built loyal communities and we'll continue to foster genuine connections with audiences. Being part of a team that is setting new standards in the industry is truly inspiring, and I love that I get to turn my passion for scrolling online into a job," said Tiah Slattery.
As the creator economy is expected to outpace broadcast TV spend by 2025, DEPT® is investing more in connecting brands with diverse audiences through creator campaigns. With a track record of executing authentic, engaging influencer campaigns DEPT® wants to become the go-to agency for creators. By letting creators take the driver's seat, brands can tap into key cultural moments that resonate deeply with their chronically online audiences.
“As brands increasingly turn to influencers and creators to build authentic connections, having Tiah's leadership and expertise will accelerate our growth. We're committed to leveraging the power of creators and Tiah's arrival marks a significant step in our journey to redefine influencer marketing - human-led, tech-enabled" said Ali McClintock, head of UK&I at DEPT®.
Recently, the agency debuted its first project with PepsiCo with the launch of the Extra Flamin Hot Temp Drop Shop, a real-life British corner shop on TikTok where exclusive, limited-edition Walkers products were dropped. The influencer campaign included influencers Ash Holme, Axel Blake, Oli Paterson, and Asim Chaudhry. The agency also handles influencer strategy for Doritos, Cheetos, Wotsits, and Quaker.
