WMcCann announces the hiring of Dani Ribeiro as the agency's chief creative officer, who will arrive in mid -August. With more than 20 years of experience, Dani’s passion for the power of words and curiosity for people, fuelled the beginning of her career as a copywriter in the city of Belo Horizonte, later moving to São Paulo, where she worked at TBWA, VMLY&R, Fischer and Santa Clara. She was responsible for the start-up of Fischer in Portugal, and later was creativedDirector at Publicis Rio and Artplan, then returned to Publicis as executive creative director.
Dani has been dedicated to creating and promoting ideas, engaging narratives and cultural relevance for brands such as GSK/Haleon, Hershey's, Heineken, P&G, Nestlé, Honda, L’Oréal, Vivo and Find, among others.

With more than 30 awards including trophies, shortlists and mentions in local and international festivals such as Cannes Lions, The One Show, LIA Festival, Clio Awards, Effie, El Ojo de Iberoamerica and Professionals of the Year, she has also been a judge in the biggest industry awards around the world such as Cannes Lions, D&AD, The One Show, New York Festival and Effie Awards. In September, she will serve as jury president for the 48th Annual Creative Club.

Dani, in addition to being a mother, fan of vinyl records and movie theatres, is a teacher in the Creative Leadership course at the Miami Ad School, part of the Board of Transcriativa/UNESCO SOST - which works in favour of Education, Science and Culture, based on UNESCO missions to Brazil – and enthusiast and facilitator of acceleration programs for creative training.
