Dana Carvey Stars as King Charles III in SixTwentySix and Tom Morris' New Spot for PetSmart

Legendary comedian Dana Carvey steps in as the newly-crowned King in PetSmart’s new spot lampooning the coronation and highlighting the dangers of adopting King Charles Spaniels. Created by Maximum Effort and directed by Tom Morris for SixTwentySix, the video is a testament to PetSmart's commitment to providing pet owners with fun, engaging content while encouraging owners to adopt rescue dogs.

Due to the impending coronation the timing on the project was extremely tight. “This project had a super quick turnaround so I am grateful to my creative partners DP Brooks Ludwick, PD Sage Griffin, and wardrobe’s Jolene Nava, for leading all their teams so skillfully and quickly,” shared Morris.

“It was always my dream to work with Dana Carvey since seeing "Wayne’s World" as a youth," said Morris. "They say 'never meet your heroes,' but Dana was the absolute best and had everyone cracking up!”

SixTwentySix produced the project with their EPs Carleigh Finch and Austin Barbera.

The concept was developed by Maximum Effort’s creative directors Van Gould and Chris Sheldon, the agency producer was Jason Curtis.
