Dick’s Sporting Goods’ “Swing Your Swing” could well be called Zen and The Art of Golfing or the Tao of Palmer. Directed by Max Malkin and edited by Akiko Iwakawa for advertising agency Anomaly, the simple and eloquent commercial pays homage to finding your own individual swing style like legendary golf master Arnold Palmer.
“I was inspired by the concept and by the beautiful footage to weave together these unique and intimate sporting moments by pros, semi pros and amateurs and build an escalating rhythm to the commercial,” says editor Akiko Iwakawa.
