Cut+Run London has hired Sam Bould to join its roster of editing talent in their Wardour Street studios.
Joining from Big Chop, with ten years of editing experience, Sam has worked on high profile commercial campaigns for Finish, Mailchimp and Mankind, and works with equally high profile directors The Sacred Egg, David Stoddart and David Crook. He’s also been shortlisted for best editing at the British Arrows and UKMVAs.
Commenting on the next chapter in his career, Sam said: "Since my first day in the industry I have always seen Cut+Run as THE place for high quality editing. To be joining the team is an honour, I can't wait to start working with them.”
“Within five minutes of meeting Sam, I knew he was the right fit,” says Cut+Run Editor and Partner Ben Campbell. “He’s a natural editor, is as passionate about his work as anyone I’ve met and has been working with some of the most exciting directors around.”
Sam started out cutting skate videos, and learning his craft by observing the distinct, rhythmic approaches to editing and the integration of music and action. French New Wave Cinema and Jonathan Glazer have been his influences throughout.
