In January 2022 Cult is launching two virtual events that succeed their sustainable NFT charity campaign. The live events will further promote the work of their emerging artists and spotlighting the work of charity partner, The Turing Trust, and sustainable NFT platform Voice.
The first is an Instagram Live event with sustainable NFT minting platform Voice on Monday 10th January 2022 at 7pm, which will be a celebration of Cult’s emerging artistic talent and sustainable fundraising pursuits. The IG Live will feature a conversation between Voice’s Marketing Director, Emily Drewry, and Cult’s Global Managing Director and Co-founder, Bridey Lipscombe. Also speaking is Cult’s Editorial Assistant, Daisy Haywood, and 5 of the junior Cult creatives who were behind the charity NFT artworks, Michael Chen, Iman Siyad, Jael Makelemi, Mindy Bilkhu, and Joe Chapman. You can join the live event on 10th January at 7pm GMT here.
The second event is a LinkedIn Live event due to run later in January 2022 with Cult’s NFT campaign charity partner, The Turing Trust, which seeks to continue the legacy of Alan Turing by using technology to empower disadvantaged communities. Cult Co-Founders, Cat Turner and Bridey Lipscombe, will be joined by Founder of The Turing Trust, James Turing, to explore the meaningful work being done by the charity, the reasoning behind Cult raising funds for the Trust with their first collection of sustainable NFTs, and how this completes Cult’s cycle of sustainability within the Metaverse.
Cult’s NFT charity campaign launched this December alongside their latest industry-leading Futures report titled ‘Entering the Metaverse Part One: Sustainable NFTs.’
Bridey Lipscombe, global managing director and co-founder, Cult, comments: “We want to share our learnings about the NFT space and the opportunities to build them sustainably and for good with the rest of the industry. These events with our wonderful partners at The Turing Trust and Voice will shed light on an area that can be seen as hard to navigate, while also giving our incredible young creatives a platform to speak about their art and their experience being involved in this campaign.”
